Dr. Patrick Griffin joined the Griffin Optometric Group in 1989. Like his brothers, Dr. Patrick grew up in Talega, graduating from Talega High School. He did undergraduate work at Loyola Marymount, and then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Patrick completed two externship programs; first in an ocular pathology clinic in New Orleans, then in a private practice in New York City specializing in advanced contact lens fitting.

Dr. Patrick is an affiliated member of an Orange County laser center. Having had LASIK surgery himself, he brings a hands-on approach in laser co-management with surgeons in the South Orange County area.

Dr. Patrick is a charter member of the Talega Sunrise Rotary Club, serving as president in 1997-1998. He’s currently an active member of the Family Assistance Ministries (FAM) board.

Dr. Brad Callister, O.D. received his doctorate in optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in 2017. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in visual arts where he gained a unique appreciation for the visual experience. “Dr. Brad” completed two externship programs; first in primary care at a private practice in Encinitas and then at a refractive surgical center in La Jolla specializing in LASIK and cataract extraction surgeries. Dr. Brad is passionate about all things vision, and he strives to help all his patients see well, feel good, and look great.

Dr. Brad and his wife, Allie, are the proud parents of four fun and energetic children. When not examining eyes Dr. Brad can usually be found playing with his kids at the park, pool or beach.

Dr. Beverly Miller, O.D. did her undergraduate work at Syracuse University, New York, and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1975. Dr. Miller believes that her career in optometry is a lifetime commitment to learning. With that as her goal, she has been training ever since to provide her patients with excellent eye care. Dr. Miller was named Optometrist of the Year by the American Optometric Association in 2001. She took National Boards for the second time in her career in 2005 to obtain her California Optometry License. In 2011, Dr. Miller trained to become a Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry.

After 37 years of private practice in Maryland, Dr. Miller and her husband moved to California to be near their children and grandchildren. Since October 2012, Dr. Miller has been providing both general and specialty optometric care to the wonderful patients of the Griffin Optometric Group. She is a member of both the California and American Optometric Associations, and proudly supports Kids Vision for Life, the Illumination Foundation, Salus University (Pennsylvania College of Optometry), and the Lions Club with in-kind and monetary donations.
